Pull-cord transmitter with cancel in the changing rooms, showers and by the pool: sealed, 2 m chain, transmits every 30 s until cancelled.
Quantity: 6
A 433.92 MHz system for a hotel wellness area: sealed pull-cord transmitters where there is water, buttons in the treatment rooms, the point number at the spa reception and lamps visible from the pool.

01 / Investment context
The hotel spa consists of a reception, two changing rooms with showers, a pool and six massage rooms. Two staff work each shift: one at the reception, the other moving between the pool and the treatment rooms. The therapists are in the treatment rooms but busy with a guest.
In the wet zone it is easy to slip, and the warmth of the pool and treatments can be a strain for some guests. A guest who feels faint in the shower, in the changing room or by the pool must be able to call for help with one movement — even from the floor. And when a guest feels unwell on the massage table, the therapist must be able to call for support without leaving the room.
Staff do not stay in one place, so a call visible only at the reception is not enough. It must be visible by the pool, reach the staff member’s pocket and not disappear before someone gets there.
The investor’s goal: A call from any point in the area is visible wherever the staff happen to be, and lasts until someone cancels it at the guest’s side.
In the changing rooms, the shower area and by the pool there are sealed pull-cord transmitters with cancel (PNH-201SC): the 2 m chain hangs low, so even someone who has fallen on the wet floor can send a call. In the six massage rooms the therapist has a sealed button with cancel (PNH-201C) to call for support without leaving the guest.
Both transmitter types repeat their transmission every 30 seconds until someone cancels the call on the spot. At the spa reception the identification receiver (IDO-04/99) shows the point number, and high-brightness lamps (BSO-2H2) at the reception and by the pool light up with every call — so staff who are not at the desk see them too. The two staff on shift carry pagers (OBI-4SH), so the call also reaches them away from the desk.
The call ends where it began: the staff member who has reached the guest presses the cancel key on the transmitter and the transmission stops. The transmitters are battery-powered, so no wiring has to be run to them in the finished wet area.
02 / Operating principle
Guests and therapists call for help with one movement. The call shows at the reception, by the pool and on the staff pagers.
01 / Signal source
Call point Wet area and massage roomsThe guest pulls the chain, the therapist presses the button.
02 / Reception

03 / Notification
Spa staff Two staff per shift Lamps + PagersLamps light up at the reception and by the pool, and the call goes to the pagers.
The call lasts until someone reaches the guest. The transmitter repeats its transmission every 30 seconds until a staff member at the guest’s side presses the cancel key.

Catalogue figures describe a device under stated conditions, usually in open terrain, and are not a guaranteed range in every installation. Device quantities in the examples are indicative.
04 / Value for the investor
The transmitter repeats the call every 30 seconds until a staff member cancels it at the guest’s side — so it is hard to miss amid the bustle at the reception or the pool.
The number at the reception, the lamp by the pool and the pager in the pocket mean that every member of staff sees the call — at the desk, by the pool or in the treatment rooms.
Sealed transmitters with a low-hanging chain let guests call for help from the shower and from the floor, and batteries mean no wiring in the wet area.
05 / Before installation
Before devices are chosen, what matters is the site’s conditions and how the system ties into the final installation.
Example configuration — it needs a technical selection for your site.
