ATG-SG4set
GSM transmitter in a housing with a power supply and internal antenna, in the container. It reports the operation of the alarm contacts and the door contact to the service team by text and call (CLIP).
Quantity: 1
GSM alerts from selected alarm contacts of a farm 40 km from the service base, and a gate opened by a phone call for service and grass-mowing crews — with no gatehouse and no keys to hand out.

01 / Investment context
The 2 MW solar farm stands in open country behind a fence with an entrance gate. It has a transformer station and an equipment container, but no gatehouse — normally nobody is there. The service team is based 40 km away.
The owner wants the service team to know at once when a protection device trips, an inverter stops or someone opens the container. Every hour of downtime is lost production, and an open container door may mean a break-in.
Crews come in regularly: the service team, the grass-mowing contractor, sometimes an inspection. Handing out and collecting gate keys for each of them is a nuisance, and a lost key means changing the lock.
The investor’s goal: A text message about selected events straight to the service team’s phone, and entry for authorised crews without handing out keys.
A GSM transmitter in a housing with a power supply (ATG-SG4set), backed up by a battery, works in the container. Connected to it are the alarm contacts provided by the inverters and the station’s protection devices, and a reed contact on the container door. When a contact operates, a text message goes to the service team, and a call (CLIP) makes it harder to miss.
The gate is opened by a GSM controller (GSU-K02/L) in the gate operator’s cabinet. A crew member calls the controller’s number from a phone on the list; the controller recognises the number and does not answer, so the call costs nothing, and its output sends a signal to the operator’s “open” input. After the vehicle has passed, the operator’s automation closes the gate. When a crew has finished its work, its number is removed from the list.
This passes on selected states; it is not energy production monitoring or part of the grid protection. Metering, inverter logging and the farm’s protection system work as before, and the GSM transmitter only says that something needs attention.
02 / Operating principle
Selected alarms from the farm go by text to the service team, and crews open the gate with a phone call.

The service team learns of an event at once, not at the next inspection. This passes on selected states and is not production monitoring: the farm’s metering and protection work as before.

Crews get in without keys. When the work is done, the crew’s number is removed from the list — no collecting keys and no changing locks.

03 / Installation components
An example selection — the number of devices depends on the site.

Keeps the GSM transmitter running when the container loses power. Not included in the set — chosen separately.
Quantity: 1
Magnetic sensor on the container door: opening the door changes the state of a GSM transmitter input and triggers a text message.
Quantity: 1 per door
GSM gate controller in the operator’s cabinet: a call from a listed number is free of charge (CLIP), and the controller’s output sends a signal to the operator’s “open” input.
Quantity: 1
Magnetic-base 5 dBi GSM antenna on the container roof — if the steel walls weaken the signal of the internal antenna.
Quantity: optional
Catalogue figures describe a device under stated conditions, usually in open terrain, and are not a guaranteed range in every installation. Device quantities in the examples are indicative.
04 / Value for the investor
A protection trip or an inverter fault reaches the service team’s phone at once, not at the next inspection or in the production statement.
A crew opens the gate with a call from a listed phone; when the work is done its number is removed from the list — no collecting keys and no changing locks.
No SCADA system and no permanent link: the transmitter passes on only selected states that call for a service visit.
05 / Before installation
Before devices are chosen, what matters is the site’s conditions and how the system ties into the final installation.
Example configuration — it needs a technical selection for your site.
